Mozaïekkunst in het Duizend Eilandenrijk. Terugblik op de Kunstroute Broek op Langedijk

Mosaic art in the Thousand Islands Empire. Looking back at the Broek op Langedijk Art Route

Last weekend we were at a special location with our ceramics for three days: the Art Route of the Thousand Islands Empire. This artistic route took place in and around the Broekerveiling museum, where visitors could not only view art, but also sail along various locations through the beautiful Thousand Islands Empire by boat.

We were allowed to exhibit our work in a unique location and we were happy to present our ceramic mosaic artwork: a landscape of Langedijk, made in mosaic style. The reactions of visitors were heartwarming, we had many nice conversations and it was great to see that people were interested in our work and how we made it.

The artwork itself will receive extra attention in a separate blog post, including a video in which we explain how it came about. Stay tuned if you are curious about that!

And good news for everyone who has become enthusiastic: we do not only want to make these kinds of mosaic artworks on request, but also give workshops. So if you are looking for a personal artwork with meaning, for example of a landscape that is dear to you, or a portrait. Please feel free to contact us, or sign up for the newsletter, and receive a notification when the workshop is online.
