Create Your Own Ceramics on the Wheel!

Have you always wanted to experience what it’s like to work with clay on the potter’s wheel? During a personal 1-on-1 wheel throwing lesson you’ll learn the basics of throwing and create your very own ceramic pieces!

What to Expect

Each lesson is tailored to your wishes and experience. I’d love to hear your goals and what you’d like to learn, so we can make a plan together! Whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience, the lesson will be adjusted to your level. Coffee/tea and a small treat are always included.

You can choose from three standard options—always adjustable to your pace and preferences—and there’s also a duo option if you’d like to come with someone else:

Introductory Lesson – 1 lesson (€70)
A single 2.5-hour private class, perfect to discover if wheel throwing is for you. You choose 4 items to keep, and we take care of finishing, glazing in the color of your choice, and firing.

Extra option: Join a glazing workshop for an additional €25 to glaze your own work.

Short Workshop – 2 lessons (€130)
Two private classes of 2.5 hours each, giving you more time to get a feel for the technique. Perfect if you want to improve your throwing skills. You choose 4 pieces per class (up to 8 in total), and we glaze them for you in your chosen colors.

Extra option: Join a glazing workshop for an additional €25 to glaze your own work.

Extended Workshop – 5 lessons (SPECIAL OFFER €300)
A more in-depth workshop where you decide how much time you want to spend on throwing vs. glazing:

• 3 or 4 lessons of throwing

• 2 or 1 lessons of glazing (depending on your preference)

• See the sample schedule in the product photos for an impression

• Ideal if you want to experience the full process—from clay to finished glazed result

• In each lesson you may keep 4 items, which you can glaze later

Duo Workshop – Handbuilding & Throwing – 2 lessons (€240 per duo / €120 p.p.)
Join with a friend, partner, or family member for a creative two-day workshop (2.5 hours per day). Since there is one wheel, you’ll take turns. One throws while the other hand-builds, and in the second lesson you switch (if you want).

Day 1: one person throws, the other hand-builds
Day 2: switch roles, or keep the same setup as day 1

A fun creative outing or gift!

What Can You Make During Handbuilding?
With handbuilding you can work on, for example:

• a coffee mug with a handle

• a bowl or tapas plate

• a spoon or ceramic pendant

• a small vase or flowerpot

• a figurine

Examples are available in the studio, and guidance is provided where needed.

Extra option: Join a glazing workshop for €50 per duo (€25 p.p.) to glaze your own work.

After the Workshop: Open Studio Sessions (€19 per session)
After completing a workshop of 2 or more lessons you automatically become a member and can join the open studio sessions. For €19 per session you work independently on your ceramics.

• Includes clay, use of tools, coffee/tea

• Option to have your work fired or glazed

• Sessions available on fixed days
