Pottery wheel lessons

Create your own ceramics on the potter's wheel!

Always wanted to experience working with clay on the potter's wheel? During a pottery class, you'll learn the basics of throwing and create your own ceramic pieces! We work in small groups (2 people) to ensure plenty of personal attention.

Classes are in Dutch on Fridays and in English on Sundays.

What to expect?
Each lesson is specially tailored to your wishes and experience. I'm curious about your goals and what you want to learn, so we can make a plan together! Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, we ensure that your lesson perfectly matches your goals. All lessons include tea and a snack.

You can choose from three standard options, which you can always adjust to your pace and preference.

1. Introduction class – 1 lesson (€70)
   A one-off 2-hour lesson, ideal for discovering if throwing is for you. You choose 3 items to keep, and we take care of the finishing, glazing in your chosen color, and firing.
   
   Optional extra: You can also join a glazing workshop for an additional €25 to glaze your own piece.
   
   

2. Short workshop – 2 lessons (€130)

   Two 2-hour lessons where you will get a better grasp of the technique. Perfect if you want to work on your technique a bit more. You choose 3 pieces per lesson that we glaze, so you will go home with a maximum of 6 items. Of course, you can choose the glaze colors yourself.

   Optional extra: You can also join a glazing workshop for an additional €25 to glaze your own piece.
   
   

3. Extensive workshop – 4 lessons (SPECIAL OFFER €250)

   An extensive workshop where you learn the entire pottery process!
   – 2 throwing lessons
   – 1 trimming lesson 
   – 1 glazing lesson
   You may keep 3 items per throwing lesson. If you have time left during the trimming lesson, you can continue throwing.

Afterward: Open studio sessions for €20

After completing a workshop of 2 or more lessons, you automatically become a member and can participate in the open studio sessions. For €20 per session, you can continue working on your ceramics independently.

– Opportunity to have work fired or glazed
– Can be scheduled on fixed days
